Event Management and Collateral
Manage global webinars, events, meetings and strategic moments of reflection on progammes and policy and report releases and develop outreach material for internal and external communication channels (eg. social media, Microsoft Viva Engage etc).
Managed all aspects of UNICEF’s flagship knowledge event ‘Conversations with Thought Leaders’.
Issue: The event series brought together thought leaders to UNICEF and staff to discuss current thinking in various emerging fields on issues related to children.
Audience: On average approximately 100 United Nations staff and invited partners would attend each event in person and far more online.
Solution: The event series required event management including, live-tweeting on UNICEF social media channels, researching speakers, analyses of exit surveys.
I also developed collateral for the event series shown here along with another event on UNICEF’s Global Manifesto for Better Data Governance for children.
Managed all aspects of of other key events in policy development and strategy.
Events: UNICEF’s Global Forum for the development of AI and Child Rights Policy and Guidance, UNICEF Strategic Moment of Reflection on Climate, Energy, and Environment,
Audience: The event brought together key stakeholders, including staff from all regions and several countries globally, policy-makers, donors, corporate partners and youth fellows amongst others.
Reports and Collateral: All the events included coordinating stakeholder participation, partners and contributing to reports summarizing outcomes. eg (see below). During events managed outreach including, live-tweeting on UNICEF social media channels, researching speakers, analyses of exit surveys.
